How to work on upgrading the strategy, when our markets are simultaneously shrinking and consumer behavior is changing? We work in times of unpredictable future and continue to focus on operational efficiency. But the question of the viability of the business model remains. How to upgrade the strategy in such conditions? What tools should be used?. During the session, we considered the flexible strategy and the basic path to its development and upgrading, the solutions of which will provide rapid and economic adaption to the market changes.

- Principle of Sustainability: competitiveness in operational efficiency, in the current business model (here and now)
- Principle of Adaptation: rapid failure and turn in updating the value proposition and elements of the business model (today and tomorrow)
- Principle of Innovation: visionary path as an innovation within the long-term development of the company (day after tomorrow)
- Principle of Clarity and reduction of cycles: the art of small steps, team, formats of co-creation and trouble shooting

Oksana Shchegelska, adjunct professor, Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. Managing partner of the business development company Strategic. Oksana has been implementing transformation projects for business for more than 15 years: she develops development strategies, helps to formulate the strategic idea and move to flexible management of the organization. She also holds trainings for business leaders of national and international companies. Since 2010, he has been teaching courses on strategy changes at Kyiv Mohyla Business School. He is the author of the two programs: "Strategic session on your own", "Business development: what to change and what to keep?".
