Lactalis Ukraine

Lactalis in Ukraine is a dairy product company that plays one of the key roles in the country's dairy industry. The company is a part of the Groupe Lactalis, a private non-public family company based in France that is a world leader in dairy products production and the largest cheese producer in the world.

Groupe Lactalis became the first foreign company to invest in the dairy industry of independent Ukraine. As a result, a joint French-Ukrainian enterprise was created on the basis of Mykolayiv Municipal Dairy Factory in 1996. In 2007, the Groupe Lactalis acquired a dairy factory in Pavlograd, and in autumn of 2021, under a joint agreement, it purchased Shostka cheese factory. Today, Lactalis in Ukraine is represented by three dairy factories and a trading company headquartered in Kyiv. The company has almost 900 employees.

Lactalis in Ukraine manufactures more than 250 SKUs under such brands as Président, Dolce, Lactonia, Lactel, Fanny, Loko Moko, and Shostka. Also, the Company imports to Ukraine Président, Galbani and Société cheeses made by Groupe Lactalis. The Company occupies a leading position among the Ukrainian producers and exporters of dairy products for the final consumer.
