EVERLEGAL law firm has published its fifth annual Sustainability Progress Report, covering the period from 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026. The document presents the company's results across ESG areas and demonstrates a shift from standalone initiatives to a systematic approach to sustainability management.
Key results of the year include more than 260 client projects delivered, the launch of the firm's own CRM platform built on Ukrainian technology Creatio, the formalisation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies, and the expansion of partnerships with international and Ukrainian organisations working in sustainable development.
The company notes that 2025 marked a shift from individual ESG initiatives towards a systematic approach, with sustainable practices integrated into corporate governance, team development and client engagement. According to EVERLEGAL Managing Partner Yevheniy Deyneko, the key outcome of the year was not only the introduction of new practices, but their transformation into lasting management mechanisms.
"2025 was a year of consolidation and growth. We strengthened the foundations of our firm by formalising policies, introducing clearer governance structures, investing in our people, and embedding greater accountability across our operations. Many of these practices had long been part of our culture. This year, we turned them into systems that can scale, endure and create lasting value.
We continued to support businesses operating in one of the most challenging environments in the world. Our team delivered more than 260 client projects, expanded our ESG, RRRD and business protection capabilities, and strengthened partnerships with international organisations, humanitarian actors and institutions working on Ukraine's recovery. At the same time, we remained committed to ensuring that legal expertise serves not only business objectives, but also broader societal needs.
Responsible business is no longer a separate agenda. It has become an integral part of how organisations build trust, manage risk and create long-term value. At EVERLEGAL, sustainability is embedded in how we work with clients, develop our people and contribute to the communities around us.

Digital transformation was one of the key areas of development. In 2025, EVERLEGAL implemented a CRM system based on the Ukrainian platform Creatio, adapted to the needs of the legal business. The new system brought together client project management, analytics and internal business processes, improving the team's efficiency, enhancing transparency in client interactions, and raising the quality of project reporting. The company also launched EverNow, an emergency legal support service that ensures a rapid response from lawyers in crisis situations.
Significant attention in the report is given to team development. As at the end of the reporting period, EVERLEGAL employed more than 75 professionals, with a gender balance of 55% women and 45% men. Over the course of the year, the company made 10 internal promotions, 80% of which went to women.
According to the internal Culture & Wellbeing Survey 2025, 93% of employees said they feel comfortable and able to speak freely within the team, 84% feel respected regardless of gender, age or status, and 89% would recommend EVERLEGAL as an employer. In 2025, the company also adopted its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy, which will take effect in 2026, and formalised its flexible working schedule policy during air raid alerts, as well as a blackout action plan.
A separate section of the report is dedicated to the development of sustainability partnerships. Over the course of the year, EVERLEGAL became a partner of PAEW and the UN Global Compact network in Ukraine, joining the delivery of the ESG 360° School educational programme. The firm's team also acted as an implementing partner for a study by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), which covered 82 communities and focused on legal mechanisms to provide internally displaced persons with durable housing, including through improved procedures for the transfer of ownerless property and escheated inheritance.
The report also reflects how the company adapts its operations to full-scale war conditions. In 2025, 65% of the team had access to remote or hybrid work. The company formalised a blackout action plan, equipped its office with backup power, and continued systematic monitoring of the security situation.
Among the year's international recognitions was the shortlisting of the joint EVERLEGAL and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) project as a finalist for the international Partnership for Sustainability Award 2025 in the "Ukraine Recovery" category. This award recognises partnership initiatives that contribute to Ukraine's sustainable recovery and to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Also in 2025, EVERLEGAL became the only Ukrainian company to win a Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Award, in the "Innovative Lawyers in Disputes and Crisis Management" category.
