The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, jointly with a member company Vasil Kisil and Partners, is glad to invite you to the upcoming Knowledge Webinar "Mobbing: Prevention and Counteraction". The link to the webinar will be sent only to the registered participants.
Mobbing inspections have resumed. This means that if an employee perceives an employer's actions as mobbing, they can now file a complaint with the State Labor Service, prompting an inspection. Since the concept of mobbing was only introduced in 2022, and inspections by the State Labor Service on this issue were prohibited until October 2025, mobbing-related checks are a new development. The potential consequences for employers can be significant: from fines to compensation for moral damages to the affected employee, dismissal of those responsible, and reputational harm.
Questions for discussion:
- The concept of mobbing, its characteristics as defined by legislation and judicial practice
- Cases where an employer's actions do not constitute mobbing
- Preventing mobbing in the company: actions employers can take right now. Internal mechanisms for mobbing prevention. Labor compliance
- Responding to an existing conflict with an employee: assessing risks and preparing for a potential complaint
- State Labor Service inspections on mobbing: how to respond appropriately and what to focus on. Possible employer actions following inspection results
- Challenging the outcomes of mobbing-related inspections
- Court cases on mobbing in Ukraine: existing practice and prospects for employers
