The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine hosted a meeting with Olena Voloshyna, Head of International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Ukraine, dedicated to IFC’s ongoing work and priorities in supporting Ukraine’s private sector.
Olena Voloshyna presented IFC’s Economic Resilience Action (ERA) Program for Ukraine, highlighting:
- IFC’s current portfolio and new investment projects;
- Opportunities for private sector participation in reconstruction;
- Instruments to improve access to finance and de-risk investments;
- Advisory programs that help companies become more “investment-ready.”
Participants also discussed challenges Ukrainian businesses face in securing financing, the importance of transparent project pipelines, and opportunities in sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, agribusiness, industrial production, and technology.
