AmCham Ukraine welcomes the registration of Draft Law #14108-1 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Voluntary Enforcement of Decisions on the Collection of Funds” and Draft Law #14108-2 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Ensuring the Possibility of Voluntary Enforcement of Court Decisions” (Draft Laws).
AmCham Ukraine member companies’ experts consistently advocate for the introduction of a procedure for the voluntary enforcement of court decisions, which will allow debtors to avoid additional financial costs associated with enforcement and minimize the risks of restrictions on rights that may be imposed by enforcement officers.
At the same time, AmCham Ukraine member companies draw attention to the need for further improvement of the Draft Laws to ensure consistency in the timeframes for voluntary enforcement of court decisions and to simplify the proposed mechanism in the absence of the collector's bank details.
AmCham Ukraine supports the initiative to introduce a procedure for voluntary enforcement of court decisions and expresses its readiness to participate in the further development of relevant legislative proposals.
