The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine welcomes the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Draft Law #13439-3 “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025’ regarding Financial Support of the Security and Defense Sector and Addressing Priority Issues” (Draft Law), particularly in terms of allocating and providing additional state support to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of railway transport.
AmCham member companies are convinced that this decision will facilitate the attraction of additional financial resources to maintain the stable operation of railway transport under conditions of significant budgetary constraints, as well as help prevent the suspension of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia’s operations, deterioration in service quality, and disruption of logistics chains.
AmCham Ukraine is grateful to the Members of Parliament for taking into account the business community’s position and looks forward to the swift signing of the respective Law by the President of Ukraine.
