The Energy and Natural Resources practice headed by LСF Counsel Ivan Bondarchuk prepared an analytical review of the draft law No. 3220-IX on the restoration and green transformation of energy system of Ukraine.
The analytical review covers the changes in the operation of RES producers at facilities with a capacity of more than 1 MW, particularly in the following aspects:
- Business conditions
- “Green” auctions
- Market premium mechanism
- Guarantees of origin
The draft law laid the foundation for the rules that will guide the development of alternative energy over the next few years and clarified many of the questions raised by industry stakeholders. Its further implementation will begin immediately after the President signs it. The next step is the adoption of by-laws.
