AmCham Ukraine Agricultural and Seeds Steering Committees met online with Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy & Food to discuss topical issues related to the operations of the business under martial law.
In focus:
- peculiarities of new procedure for reservation of employees in agricultural sector;
- options for uninterrupted electricity supply for silos;
- further operation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative;
- perspectives on further VAT refund for grain exporters;
- forced alienation issues;
- “grey” grain market issue and deregulation of the exchange rate;
- loan payments with overdue debt to a non-resident, etc.
