INTEGRITES has been shortlisted for Financial Times (FT) Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2021 in the category Sustainability & ESG – “Leadership for Climate Change Task Force”. The firm becomes the only law firm from Ukraine out of 58 law firms shortlisted in 14 categories.
INTEGRITES enters the shortlist with the Climate Change Task Force (CCTF) initiative that helps clients to overcome the challenges posed by the global climate change and decarbonization of business. Consisting of over 30 lawyers, including 6 partners, the CCTF advises clients with their business ventures in becoming greener, building renewables generation, construction of the energy storage and manoeuvring capacities, production of green hydrogen, green electricity trading, as well as in relevant policy framing and advocacy.
In 2019 INTEGRITES was highly commended by FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe in two categories – Creating a New Standard and Accessing New Markets and Capital with the landmark projects for PJSC Farmak, and EMERGY AS and Total Eren respectively. The successful outcome of Farmak case allowed the local pharmaceutical players to resume production of the allergy medication interrupted by the monopolist supplier of the medical substance required for it. Acknowledged in the category Accessing New Markets and Capital, the firm performed the first non-recourse financing project in alternative energy in Ukraine to assist in developing Syvash wind farm worth EUR 376 mln. Upon completion it will become the biggest renewable energy project in the country.
