Citi Ukraine has launched Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), a dedicated business segment for serving the mid-sized companies with annual revenues from US $100 mln to US $0.5 bln, including from the fast growing digital sector. Additionally, CCB in Ukraine will be serving international subsidiaries of Citi’s CCB clients located in Ukraine.
To service the notable opportunities in this market segment, Citi Ukraine is building a new Kyiv-based CCB team.
CCB clients will be offered solutions covering all aspects of cash and liquidity management, trade services and finance, treasury services, corporate finance and lending, securities services, and issuer services.
Alexander McWhorter, Head of Citi Ukraine, said: ‘Citi continues to expand its business in Ukraine, building on our 23 years of history in the country. We have identified an exciting market opportunity to offer internationally-minded and highly transactional mid-sized companies a dedicated service addressing their specific needs. Citi’s presence in 96 markets around the world allows us to provide our clients with access to an unparalleled network along with the ability to transact using our global product suite, which we believe will be key differentiators for this segment. We look forward to providing them best-in-class services and helping them grow their businesses in Ukraine and abroad.”
Citi’s commercial banking expansion into Ukraine comes after the recent launch of CCB into numerous markets in Western Europe – Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Italy – earlier this year.
