The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (the Chamber) welcomes the adoption of the Ministry's of Health Order #1156 dated June 9, 2021, approving amendments to the Methodical recommendations for the submission of proposals to the Nomenclature of Medicines, Medical Devices, and Supporting Tools to them (the Nomenclature), which will be procured in order to provide medical services within separate state programs and comprehensive program activities at the expense of state budget in the relevant budget year (the Order).
The Order contains recommendations on the inclusion of medicines in the Nomenclature considering the results of state health technology assessment (HTA) and application form for medical devices for inclusion in Nomenclature. With this Order medical devices received the clear official procedure for application to Nomenclature till the HTA Guidelines for medical devices will be developed.
The Chamber member companies' experts provided expert support in the course of development of application form for the medical devices. The Chamber will continue to contribute to Ukraine's healthcare system's transformation.
