AmCham Ukraine welcomes the adoption by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution #233 "Certain Issues of Conscripts' Reservation for the Period of Mobilization and Wartime".
The Resolution introduces the following changes:
- employees liable to military service during mobilization after May 18, 2024, will be included in the total number of liable employees and accounted for in the available reservation quota;
- enterprises are given the opportunity to apply for cancellation of the employees' reservation once every 5 days.
Experts of the AmCham member companies support the Government's decision to improve the reservation conditions and have repeatedly emphasized the need for their adoption.
AmCham Ukraine is grateful to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine team for maintaining an open dialogue with the business community regarding the acute issues in the context of employees' reservation. We hope to continue constructive cooperation and rely on the Government to support business needs and proposals.
