The Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement approved Draft Law #2654 regarding strengthening the protection of telecommunications networks for the second reading.
The adoption of this Draft Law is of crucial importance and need, as nowadays mobile communications and the Internet are essential means of communication for citizens, businesses, and public authorities and, in addition to the technical component, have a significant social function.
We would like to thank the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Law Enforcement, in particular MPs Denys Monastyrskyy and Oleksandr Bakumov, for openness to dialog with the business community and supporting such important amendments aimed at protection of telecommunication infrastructure. We will continue our cooperation in the future targeted at development of stable and predictable conditions for doing business in mobile telecom sphere, thus improving the investment climate in the country.
