Acting Minister of Health Ulana Suprun signed Order #2384 "On Approval of Composition and Provisions of the Working Group on the Development and Improvement of Normative Legal Acts in the Field of Medical Devices Circulation" (hereinafter – Working Group).
The objective of the new Working Group is to serve as a platform for effective cooperation of responsible state authorities in order to create favorable conditions for functioning and developing the healthcare system in Ukraine.
The Working Group aims at the following:
- Introducing effective regulation targeted on extending access to priority medical devices
- Sharing the best practice in conformity assessment and management of the medical devices circulation
- Adjusting European standards to Ukrainian Law
- Launching the classifier of medical devices in line with the European practices
We are grateful to the Ministry of Health for a timely response to the challenges of the medical devices market. Experts of the Chamber Member Companies will continue working on further development of regulatory policies.
