We thank you and the American Chamber for your cooperation and support at this difficult time for the country and for business in particular.
We survived the first stage, we hold on, for us, it was and remains a challenge that rallied our team around the fulfillment of our mission to grow bread and reliably deliver it to our customers in different countries of the world. We sowed in the spring, harvested in the summer, and a new crop of grains, oil and sugar beets in the fall.
In March/April, during the stoppage of the agricultural market, we had to find alternative corridors through land borders to Europe. At the end of April/beginning of May, lay a track through the Danube corridor; in August, enter the grain corridor program with all others to receive liquidity and provide crop production necessary for a seed and cleaning company, using our internal elevator infrastructure, railway and auto logistics.
We were pleased that all market participants and government services of MIU, USPA, UZ, European and American colleagues rallied together to restart food exports, which means continuing the work of the agricultural sector and all participants in the logistics and food chain, both inside and outside the market. We had to partly suspend navigation on the river for some time, but we hope that already in the new year in the second half of the year the Dnieper will return to navigation.
Difficult but interesting dynamic time, a time of testing for strength. Days, and months flew by like one long day, and we were all inspired and given faith by the heroism of our Armed Forces of Ukraine and the support of democratic countries in protecting the independence of Ukraine. We do our job, we contribute to the economy and therefore the country's defense capability.
We hold on, we protect the national agricultural producer together with you, we provide food. Take care of yourself.
