The Flex manufacturing facility in Mukachevo marked its 10th anniversary this year. There are more than 4,000 people at this site, and a further 60, mainly IT staff, at an office in Kyiv.
Our primary concern continues to be the safety of our employees, and we are committed to providing our team in Ukraine and those traveling from Ukraine with all the support and resources they need during this extraordinary time.
Through unbelievable commitment, dedication and resiliency, our Mukachevo team has kept our site fully operational throughout the war. We continuously monitor developments and work closely with our customers and regional teams outside Ukraine should we need to implement contingency plans.
The war is deeply concerning, particularly for the millions of people who are either living under imminent threat and danger or who have been displaced from their homes. We have received a phenomenal response from our colleagues worldwide who have donated generously through our Flex Foundation initiative.
Our position close to the Hungarian border has allowed our employees to share their time and skills with the Red Cross Society. They have volunteered logistic and practical help, including providing food, shelter, and medical supplies for those fleeing the war.
Corporately, we support incremental programs with non-government organizations (NGOs) in Ukraine and bordering countries. Their focus is to deliver much-needed aid and assistance to help reunite the displaced families of our employees working outside of Ukraine.
These are truly unprecedented and unstable times, and we applaud our team’s remarkable resolve and courage. Their resilience is an outstanding example of the Spirit of Ukraine and is an inspiration to us all.
