“Why Does It Rain, Dad?” — A Campaign by the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund for World Children’s Day

“Why Does It Rain, Dad?” — A Campaign by the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund for World Children’s Day

To mark World Children's Day, the Children of Heroes Charity Fund is launching an awareness campaign titled "Why Does It Rain, Dad?" It tells the stories of children growing up after experiencing the loss of a mother or father, who must now seek answers to simple life questions without their parents by their side.

The campaign illustrates how the war has fundamentally changed the world for these children: how everyday, mundane details have suddenly become challenges, and how the lack of a dependable adult figure impacts their education, emotional resilience, and ability to dream.

Simultaneously, the campaign highlights the comprehensive educational, psychological, social, and humanitarian support the Fund provides to children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. Specifically, it showcases the long-term solutions the Fund is implementing to restore a sense of safety and care for over 14,500 beneficiaries.
