ILC Trade Company has been the official distributor of Weider in Ukraine since 1996, importing Weider products from both the United States and Europe.
Weider is the pioneer and a world leader in the sports nutrition and dietary supplements. Founded in 1936 by the legendary brothers Joe and Ben Weider, the Weider name has become synonymous with innovative and high-quality products for health and fitness worldwide.
Joe and Ben Weider are recognized and respected as the creators of modern bodybuilding, healthy lifestyle, and the entire fitness industry.
From the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, ILC Trade Company and its Executive Director, Yuriy Gresko, together with Weider Global Nutrition (USA) and its European divisions, Weider Nutrition S.L. (Spain) and Weider Germany GmbH (Germany), have been sending regular supplies of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This humanitarian aid includes protein bars, high-protein powders, vitamins, energy supplements, and other healthy food products by Weider.
These are premium-quality and truly delicious products, containing all the key nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, which can replace a meal, are ready-to-eat, or require a minimum preparation time.
All of these products are made at Weider's state-of-the-art facilities in Spain and Germany.
The total volume of Weider humanitarian aid provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces between March 2022 and December 2024 includes:
- 100,218 protein bars;
- 3,223 kg of protein powders for shakes (whey protein, vegan protein, high-protein oat flour, collagen);
- 2,950 tins of supplements (vitamins, amino, BCAA, joint support, immune support, etc.);
- 8,417 tins of better nutrition products (high-protein peanut butter, vegan meat, high-protein and low-sugar products);
- 7,260 energy boosting gels and sachets;
- 1,176 ready-to-drink energy and isotonic drinks.
The aforementioned humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been jointly financed by:
- Weider Global Nutrition (USA) led by Mr. Eric Weider and Mr. Richard Blair;
- Weider Nutrition S.L. (Spain) helmed by Ms. Regina Rivera, with heavy day-to-day involvement by Ms. Ana Serrano;
- Weider Germany GmbH (Germany), with active participation by Mr. Anthony Kane, Mr. Michael Hite, and Ms. Tatiana Jaeger;
- ILC Trade Company (Ukraine) managed by Ms. Larisa Gresko and Mr. Yuriy Gresko.

The logistics and transportation of this humanitarian aid from Europe to Ukraine have been organized and actively supported by volunteers Ms. Angelika Lagoda, Mr. Joe Gresko, Mr. Krzysztof Kostka, and the Polish foundation Fundacja Sztab Warszawski Front, represented by Mr. Sergii Kostiuk.
The distribution of Weider’s humanitarian aid among the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is coordinated with the Lviv Regional Military State Administration, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, and the following charitable foundations: INTELLIGENT ORGANIZATION, FOUNDATION 2408, THE ANGELS OF AZOV Patronage Service, HEARTS OF PEREYASLAVSHYN, ZDOROVE DYTYNSTVO BEZ MEZH, FORPOST UA, LEGIT, UNISOUL, Fundazia VICTORIA.
