US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund Project Submission Portal Launched

Today, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, together with the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC), announced the launch of an online portal for submitting investment projects to the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund (URIF).

URIF is a joint venture of the U.S. and Ukrainian governments. The Fund will mobilize U.S. and aligned capital, including through partnerships with other public sector investors, to generate private-sector investment into Ukraine.

URIF’s mission is to advance Ukraine’s ongoing recovery and enduring resilience by investing directly in and mobilizing private sector investment for strategic natural resources, infrastructure, energy, and technology projects that deliver long-term growth and economic security.

The URIF will primarily consider project proposals in the following sectors: critical minerals (upstream and midstream), energy (including hydrocarbon generation, transmission and extraction), transport and logistics, information and communication technologies, as well as advanced technologies.

Representing 600 U.S. and international investors in Ukraine, the American Chamber of Commerce welcomes this important milestone and encourages member companies to explore potential opportunities under the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund. AmCham Ukraine stands ready to support its members in navigating the URIF framework, facilitating dialogue with responsible Ukrainian and U.S. stakeholders.
