The Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with Unex Bank, has launched the Charity credit card, a philanthropic initiative that allows cardholders to contribute to humanitarian efforts without spending their own funds.
By using the Charity card for everyday purchases, cardholders accumulate cashback, which the bank automatically donates to the Ukrainian Red Cross—provided the client consents. Additionally, 6% annual interest on the balance of personal funds is partially allocated to charity. In this way, every transaction made with the card becomes a personal contribution of the card owner to helping Ukrainians in need.
Funds raised through this initiative will be used by the Ukrainian Red Cross to support internally displaced persons, large families, and people with disabilities.
This is not the first social project by the Ukrainian Red Cross and Unex Bank. Last year, the partners introduced an inclusive card "Vidchui" for people with visual impairments. Now, with the launch of the Charity card, every Ukrainian can take part in charitable giving simply by making purchases and earning cashback.
The Charity card is now available for free in both digital and physical formats.
