The increased pressure from law enforcement agencies on businesses is reflected in the use of criminal procedural mechanisms to block key enterprises in various sectors of the Ukrainian economy without actual conducting pre-trial investigations.
As a result, this has led to the cessation of business activities, employee layoffs, increased creditor indebtedness, inability to fulfil economic and legal obligations to business entities, and financial obligations to banks, reduction in the amount of funds subject to payment as taxes and fees to the state.
