PRAVEX BANK together with the Kyiv City Blood Center successfully held the sixth corporate “Donor Day”. This initiative is an important step in developing a culture of systemic donation and raising awareness of the importance of blood donation in saving lives.
The event traditionally took place at the head office of PRAVEX BANK, where employees and friends of the Bank together donated 14 liters of blood. The donation was made by experienced donors, newcomers who joined for the first time, and Akhtem Seitablaev, a well-known Ukrainian actor, screenwriter and director.
“I have already been a blood donor, so I understand the importance of donation, especially in difficult times, and I thank PRAVEX BANK for this initiative. Those who are hesitant should know that if your medical conditions allow, you should join, because blood donation can save someone's life,” Akhtem Seitablaev said.
In total, over the two years of the initiative's existence, more than 180 employees of PRAVEX BANK became donors and donated more than 100 liters of blood. We would like to remind you that one blood donation can save the lives of three people, so each contribution of a blood donor can be a literal chance for someone's future.
