Pechersk School International (PSI, PSI Kyiv) is continuing admissions for the 2026–2027 school year and invites new families to join its international learning community in the heart of Kyiv.
PSI Kyiv is a not-for-profit international school and the only school in Ukraine authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. The school welcomes students aged 3 to 18, with learning taking place in English, in an environment where students develop critical thinking, academic confidence, research skills and a voice of their own.
Recently, PSI hosted an Open House, giving families the opportunity to experience the school from within: to meet members of the educational team, learn more about the IB programmes, ask questions to the Admissions team and feel the atmosphere of the campus. The video from the event captures what is often difficult to express in words alone: the vibrant energy of the school, the openness of its students, the warmth of the community and the daily work of a team that helps children learn, grow and feel that they truly belong.
For 30 years, PSI Kyiv has remained an important part of Ukraine’s international education landscape. The school combines high academic standards with deep care for student wellbeing, continuity of learning and the development of skills children need in today’s world. Learning at PSI extends far beyond textbooks and the classroom. Students inquire, discuss, collaborate, take part in service learning, creative and athletic programmes, and learn to connect knowledge with real life.
A distinctive strength of PSI is its full IB pathway from the early years through to graduation. In the Primary Years Programme, children learn through curiosity, play, inquiry and transdisciplinary themes. In the Middle Years Programme, students deepen their academic skills, develop independence and learn to apply knowledge across different contexts. In the Diploma Programme, older students prepare for university-level learning, engage with challenging academic subjects and develop mature, internationally minded thinking.
PSI Kyiv is also a community where academic outcomes matter, but so does each child’s journey towards them. The school’s motto — A Place Where We Belong — reflects a culture in which every student has the space to be themselves, ask questions, try something new, make mistakes, grow and feel supported by adults and peers.
Today, as Ukrainian and international families look for a stable, safe and meaningful learning environment for their children, PSI Kyiv continues to offer international education in Kyiv — with a view to the world and belief in Ukraine’s future.
Admissions for the 2026–2027 school year are ongoing. Families who would like to learn more about PSI Kyiv are invited to watch the Open House video and book a consultation with the Admissions Manager.
