AmCham Ukraine members met with Vadym Melnyk, Head of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU).
In focus – discussion of cases on applying Article 229 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to strengthen responsibility in intellectual property rights (IPR) protection and mechanisms of closer cooperation between our members and ESBU on this issue. Mr. Melnyk and his team also shared their vision on approaches to the investigation of cases of IPR infringements.
We are grateful to Mr. Melnyk and the ESBU's team and look forward to further cooperation as protecting investors' rights, identifying risk areas in the economic sphere, and respecting IPR protection are our shared priorities.
