On April 23, nine member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine signed the Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business. Among the latest signatories are Astarta-Kyiv, Big Board Ukraine, Innoware, INTEGRITES, InterContinental Kyiv, JTI Ukraine, Kyivstar, Publicis Groupe Ukraine, and SWEET.TV.
This important document, developed by Starlight Media with expert support from Veteran Hub, in collaboration with Forbes Ukraine, and endorsed by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, outlines 12 actionable principles that offer practical guidance for companies on creating inclusive work environments and supporting veterans in their transition to civilian life.
The Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business have become a powerful public commitment by the business community to ensure fair and meaningful support for veterans – not only in the workplace but also through products and services, procurement policies, communications, marketing, and community engagement.
Supporting veterans, facilitating their reintegration into the workforce, and encouraging employers to hire veterans remain top priorities of the AmCham Human Capital Committee.
AmCham is honored to be a part of this important initiative and will continue promoting veteran inclusion and empowerment across the private sector.
