Our Vice President Tetyana Prokopchuk, Co-Chair of the AmCham Legal Committee Denys Petrychenko, Mondelēz, and member companies' representatives met with MP Serhiy Ionushas, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement Activities (Committee) and MP Maksym Pavlyuk, Deputy Head of the Committee.
The discussion focused on key issues impacting the business community within the Committee’s mandate — in particular, the postponement of provisions of the Law of Ukraine #3620-IX “On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses regarding the Establishment of Liability for Violations of Legislation in the Field of Lobbying.
As a next step toward strengthening cooperation, we agreed to hold a meeting between the business community and the Committee representatives.
