AmCham Ukraine leadership and members met with MP Olena Shuliak, Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional Development and Urban Planning, and Nataliya Kozlovska, Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
The meeting was focused on the discussion of mechanisms for cooperation with the business community in terms of promoting investment attraction in Ukraine's reconstruction process, as well as acute issues in the field of construction, urban planning, and housing policy reform:
- damaged housing compensation;
- simplification of the procedure for the allocation of land plots for the construction and development of telecom network towers with base stations;
- planning strategy (master planning) for the transport infrastructure reconstruction at the state level;
- construction requirements for civil defense facilities;
- support of international partners and foreign countries in the recovery of Ukraine’s regions;
- priority legislative initiatives in the field of construction and housing policy principles.
AmCham is grateful to Olena Shuliak and Nataliya Kozlovska for the professional dialogue with members and looks forward to further cooperation and implementation of joint initiatives to create comfortable conditions for doing business, rebuilding the country, and developing Ukraine’s economy.
