Meeting with Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine

Meeting with Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine

Rule of law, real and effective judicial reform, fair justice, and a transparent selection of judges at all levels are at the top of the agenda of transparent businesses and among AmCham's 10 strategic priorities for Ukraine's post-war economic recovery.

The decisive prerequisite for investing significant capital in Ukraine is the stability and predictability of the rule of law.

AmCham Ukraine President Andy Hunder, Vice President Tetyana Prokopchuk, and Legal Committee Co-Chair Vitaliy Odzhykovskyy met with Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, and her team.

The main focus of the meeting was on priority steps and key aspects for the ongoing implementation of judicial reform:

- establishing the High Administrative Court of Ukraine to handle administrative cases involving national state agencies;

- personnel provision of courts, including the Supreme Court;

- conducting a contest for the position of a judge at the Higher Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

We are grateful to Iryna Mudra and her professional team for their involvement and willingness to cooperate with the business community during wartime.
