PwC Ukraine has announced a significant leadership change: effective July 1st, Maxim Vykhovanets will take over as Managing Partner, succeeding Ago Vilu, who has led the firm for the past seven years.
Maxim Vykhovanets brings more than 20 years of professional experience, all of which he has spent with PwC. He has advanced from Junior Auditor to Partner, working with clients across various industries in both Ukraine and Australia.
Upon his appointment, Maxim Vykhovanets expressed his gratitude, stating:
"I am honored to step into a leadership role at PwC Ukraine during this pivotal time of large-scale transformation. I am confident that, with our exceptional team in Ukraine and across PwC globally, we will make a significant contribution to helping both Ukraine and our clients overcome the challenges of war, drive recovery, and shape the future of a strong and independent nation."
Reflecting on his tenure, Ago Vilu remarked:
"It's been seven years since I came to Ukraine to lead this incredible team. I never imagined my journey here would last so long, nor did I foresee the challenges we would face together. I am grateful to my colleagues and clients for these eventful and dynamic years. However, all good things must eventually come to an end, and so, my journey with PwC Ukraine is concluding. I depart with a clear conscience, as the firm remains in the safe hands of my fellow partners and the new Managing partner, Maxim Vykhovanets, with whom I have worked side-by-side these years, and whose professionalism and leadership I admire."
Additionally, the audit team will be strengthened by a new Partner, Simon Ferrers-Dunn, who will assume the Assurance Leader role from July 1st. He previously held leadership positions within PwC Central and Eastern Europe.
