On 23 November 2021, the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) officially announced the successful completion of the election procedure for 2022-2023 committee chairs. Counsel Maryna Hritsyshyna has been elected as chair of the committee on energy, oil, and gas. Senior associate Anastasiya Bidakh has been elected as chair of the committee on real estate & construction law.
This is second term for Maryna as chairman of the UBA’s committee on energy, oil, and gas. Among her goals for 2022 – 2023 are to create a network of lawyers with experience in the energy sector, as well as actively cooperate with specialised associations in Ukraine such as the Ukrainian wind energy association, Ukrainian association of renewable energy, bioenergy association of Ukraine, solar energy association of Ukraine, and international associations in the energy sector.
For Anastasiya, this is also the second consecutive term as chair of the committee on real estate & construction law. Among her main priorities in this position, she highlights the following: to promote the development of the real estate and construction market, to involve experts and UBA members in the discussion of the most pressing issues of the industry and legislative processes, to pay attention to the protection of the rights and interests of participants of the real estate and construction market, and to promote investments in Ukraine.
