Intellias opens a development center in Uzhhorod

IT company Intellias continues its operations in Ukraine and opens a development center in Transcarpathia. The new office is located in the center of Uzhhorod. The office offers 40 permanent workstations and is ready to welcome Intellias specialists.

"Uzhhorod is a modern and comfortable city, where about 40 of our colleagues currently live and work. Most of them were evacuated from other regions. The opening of the new office is an opportunity to provide our employees with a comfortable and safe place to work. In addition, it will help us to create working conditions for internally displaced people in the future. We also believe that the IT industry in Transcarpathia will expand actively, and we want to be among the drivers of this process," Vitaly Sedler, CEO.

Transcarpathia is the most western part of Ukraine and currently the safest area in the country, where engineers can evacuate. Intellias seeks to create comfortable working conditions there. As we open the new office in Uzhhorod, we continue working in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk. As for the recruitment, Intellias plans to hire Ukrainian specialists for half of the currently open vacancies. Overall, since the beginning of the war, more than 1300 specialists and their families were evacuated to the western regions of Ukraine. Apart from that, the company organized the evacuation of over 390 colleagues to Kraków, where the Intellias development center is located.

The company continues working during the war, securing jobs for more than 2500 specialists and supporting the country’s economy and the Ukrainian army. The Intellias team has raised more than UAH 8 million for the Ukrainian military. In partnership with the Winner Group Ukraine, the company launched a “Cars for the army” project and purchased 30 pickups for the military. Our specialists actively join volunteers’ communities and help to develop a logistics system for the army. Besides, the Intellias specialists united their efforts to fight the enemy on different fronts and to support people affected by the war.

The whole process of finding and launching an office was remote. The local infrastructure is speeding up its development to meet the IT industry’s need for a new hub in Transcarpathia. We found a great place in the city center and plan to organize it following the company’s smart comfort principles, Mykola Muzala, Administrative Director.

At the same time, the company implements the strategy of geographical expansion. This year, the company plans to open three offices in Warsaw, Wrocław, and Gdańsk, Poland. Intellias is also preparing to establish offices in Bulgaria and Croatia. To launch additional development centers, the company explores more distant locations – Western Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
