INTEGRITES has acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to a syndicate of banks including Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski S.A. (PKO Bank Polski) and Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. (Bank Pekao) in connection with EUR 440 mln senior secured facility and EUR 100 mln super senior revolving credit facility for Barlinek Group, secured by, amongst others, guarantees of the Ukrainian subsidiaries and various assets in Ukraine. A portion of loan proceeds will be applied by the Barlinek Group to finance its Ukrainian business.
The Barlinek Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of layered wood floors, with potential production of 12 mln m² per annum. Barlinek has three production plants in Poland, Ukraine, and Romania.
The transaction was led by partner Igor Krasovskiy with a key assistance from counsel Olena Savchuk and senior associate Yuriy Korchev. Norton Rose Fulbright Dyczkowski and Partners acted as lead counsel to the Lenders.
