AmCham Security & Defense Committee members jointly with the U.S. Embassy Kyiv Ukraine, PwC Ukraine team, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (IP Office) held a discussion on Export Licensing, IPR and Technology Transfer in the Defense Sector.
The event focused on key aspects of IP protection in Ukraine’s defense industry, including risks related to technology creation, use, transfer, and licensing. The participants also addressed the impact of recent legislative changes on cooperation between the state, business, and developers, as well as on safeguards against unfair competition in international defense projects.
We are grateful to all speakers for their valuable insights and presentations, as well as to all participants for a constructive discussion. Special thanks to Oleksiy Katasonov, Partner, PwC Ukraine, for moderating and sharing practical expertise.
