Mental health and employee well-being are critical factors for business resilience in Ukraine. Our team brought together AmCham Ukraine Board Members for the business breakfast to discuss how businesses can support their teams amid war-related challenges and prolonged stress.
We are very grateful to Oksana Zbitnieva, Head of the Ukrainian Mental Health Program "How Are U?", initiated by Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine, for sharing valuable insights on advancing mental health at the national level, as well as Halyna Vorobiova and Imperial Brands for their support and partnership.
Amid Russia’s full-scale war, mental health is no longer a secondary issue. It directly impacts team safety, productivity, and talent retention. According to AmCham Ukraine & Citi survey, nearly half of companies (47%) already consider employee mental health a key business challenge, affecting productivity, retention, and team stability. During the discussion, participants focused on practical solutions to support employees, strengthen workplace resilience, and ensure business continuity.
AmCham Ukraine remains committed to promoting effective mental health and well-being solutions as a key component of sustainable business operations.
