Kyiv, Ukraine, 29 June 2021 — Lina Nemchenko, a partner in Baker McKenzie's Kyiv office, has been named best real estate lawyer by Euromoney's Women in Business Law Europe Awards 2021. Lina is the only lawyer in Ukraine to ever receive this award. This is the second time Lina has been honored with this award during her legal career. The winners were announced on 24 June 2021.
Speaking after the awards ceremony, Lina said: "It is an honor for me, as a Ukrainian lawyer, to once again be acclaimed by the European community as the best female legal professional in real estate. I truly hope to see more Ukrainian female lawyers being acknowledged for their achievements at the European level."
