Kyiv, Ukraine, 2 February 2022 — Baker McKenzie's Kyiv office enhances cooperation with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Last week, Volodymyr Buhrov, rector of the University, and Serhiy Chorny, managing partner of Baker McKenzie's Kyiv office, signed a memorandum of cooperation under which they agreed to jointly work on developing legal educational programs, arranging internships at our Kyiv office for students from University's Institute of Law and Institute of International Relations, introducing scholarships for the best law students, holding lectures and seminars taught by our experts from Kyiv and other offices, and holding other joint events as the leading Ukrainian university and the leading international law firm.
A significant number of our Kyiv office's legal staff are graduates of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. We are honored to start a new chapter of our cooperation with University this year, as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our work in Ukraine.
