Kyiv, Ukraine, 17 January 2023:
- The Kyiv office of Baker McKenzie announced the promotion of Senior Associates Olga Gavrylyuk and Kseniia Prokhur to Counsels, thus reinforcing Kyiv's Corporate/M&A and Dispute Resolution practices respectively.
- The round of promotions also includes the promotion of 10 lawyers to Senior Associates: Hanna Smyrnova (Banking & Finance), Alyona Furda (Corporate/M&A), Elmaz Abkhairova and Nadiia Filozop (Real Estate), Ievgen Bidnyi and Anna Boyko (Dispute Resolution), Roman Koren, Khrystyna Knygynytska and Tetyana Zhuravska (Tax) and Anton Kapitonenko (IP).
Olga Gavrylyuk advises clients on general corporate law matters, mergers and acquisitions, and global reorganizations. Olga primarily focuses on global reorganization projects and advises on general corporate issues, including registration of companies in Ukraine, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border migrations, restructurings and private M&A in various industries. Olga has more than 15 years of experience working on multijurisdictional transactions, in particular involving European countries, in various sectors with a focus on healthcare, FMCG M&As, infrastructure and agriculture.
Kseniia Prokhur represents and advises clients in various types of commercial, corporate and employment litigation in Ukraine, has significant experience in enforcement of the awards of the most prominent international arbitration institutions. Kseniia specifically focuses on challenging the acts of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and advises clients on all related legal aspects. Kseniia also delivers lectures on procedural law in the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
