On May 1, AmCham Ukraine, on the platform of its Human Capital Committee, kicked off a new series of events – "Back Home, Moving Forward: Veterans' Reintegration Insights". These are open and honest conversations about the opportunities and challenges that come with the return of Ukraine's defenders to civilian life. Together with AmCham member companies, participants discuss the critical role of business and society in building decent conditions for the next chapter of veterans' lives.
The first session brought together business leaders and veterans for meaningful dialogue, real stories, and shared solutions.
Among the speakers were – Taras Panasenko, AmCham Board of Directors Member and CEO of Avrora Multimarket, and Dmytro Ustymenko, Veteran and IT Specialist at Avrora Multimarket. They openly shared their experiences, insights, and ideas on how businesses can support veterans in their reintegration journey.
The session was expertly moderated by Ludmyla Golynska, Human Capital Committee Co-Chair, HR Director at Carlsberg Ukraine.
Natalia Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and Yuliia Kirillova, Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, joined the meeting, making conversation with the business community even more meaningful and impactful.
