AmCham Ukraine met with Vitalii Koval, newly appointed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, his Deputy Oksana Osmachko, and Adviser Zoryana Zhylchuk. Participants discussed the Ministry’s priorities by the end of 2024 and for 2025 as well as key challenges of agricultural and food industries under the martial law.
In focus:
▪️ stable export of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds to the world markets;
▪️ security of Ukrainian deep Black Sea and Danube ports infrastructure;
▪️ reservation of employees;
▪️ transparent and predictable tax policy;
▪️ activities aiming to combat irregularities in agricultural sector and create favorable environment for legitimate business;
▪️ cancellation of the import duty on tractors with a capacity of up to 75 kW;
▪️ harmonization of Ukrainian and European Union regulation in agricultural and food spheres, etc.
