Ajax Systems Launches a Valuable Educational Initiative Ajax Next

The company presents the Ajax Next educational initiative to support and develop engineering education in Ukraine. The project aims to create opportunities for experience exchange between industry experts, faculty members, and future specialists in industrial engineering.

In cooperation with leading educational institutions and partners, the company will initiate educational activities: internships, specialized events, elective courses, etc. To help young technical specialists learn practical skills and start their careers, the company will set up laboratories at higher education institutions and provide them with the necessary material support.

The initiative prompted the update of the company's HR brand slogan to "Engineer your career," aimed at motivating specialists to invent their career paths in Ukraine.

Thanks to Ajax Next, students will be able to gain practical experience from the company's mentors, solve real-life cases in a community of like-minded people, and even get an internship or their first job in a product company.

"Ajax Systems has achieved global success thanks to talented Ukrainian engineers. To increase the number of skilled specialists and provide them with growth opportunities, we invest in their education, share our expertise, and equip educational institutions with modern technologies." - Aleksandr Konotopskyi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The launch of the Ajax Next initiative coincides with the graduation of students from the internship in Mechanical Engineering. The company has equipped the Instrumentation Faculty at KPI with the necessary tools and equipment. During the program, students studied the principles of structural design, material science, material processing technologies, prototyping methods, and more. Mentors helped them work on their projects and improve their practical skills. The internship ends on the 21st of May 21. Upon successful completion of interviews, participants get a chance to be hired by the company.

"Cooperation between the university and the company in the format of joint educational projects contributes to development of the necessary professional competencies. The internships we conduct together with Ajax Systems experts allow students to acquire the most relevant and in-demand knowledge. Moreover, they can immediately apply this knowledge in practice by trying their hand at being design engineers. All of this not only helps young engineers to realize their potential but also increases their competitiveness in the job market." - Yuriy Kyrychuk, Head of the Department of Automation and Non-Destructive Testing Systems, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The internships are open to second-year and senior students. Selection for the groups is based on three criteria: academic performance, personal projects, and motivation. Ajax Systems actively cooperates with Ukrainian educational institutions: National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Aviation University, and Lviv Polytechnic National University. The list of institutions will gradually expand to provide more people with access to educational opportunities.

The company regularly participates in educational processes and organizes its own initiatives. In 2021, Ajax Systems equipped the first laboratory for the Faculty of Electronics at KPI. Last summer, the company held a summer school of Embedded Programming for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students, after which 20 participants were hired by the company.
