Kyiv, February 9, 2022: Shell in Ukraine is pleased to share that another 8 EV charging modules were recently installed at its fuel sites in cooperation with YASNO. Among them are 1 more high-speed DC station with a capacity of 53 kW and 7 - AC with a capacity of 22 kW. With those new charging stations, Shell in Ukraine can offer EV charging services already at 10% of its network.
The new EV charging modules have been installed at petrol stations in Kyiv:

and in Kyiv oblast:
- Kyiv-Sviatoshyno region, Sofiyivska Borshchahivka v, Soborna Street, 87;

Prior to that, customers had the opportunity to use five high-speed charging stations located at the company’s fuel sites on the Kyiv-Odesa, Kyiv-Kharkiv, and Kyiv-Lviv highways, as well as at the sites in Kyiv and Kharkiv.
Both CHAdeMo, CCS Combo2, and Type2 ports are available at high-speed charging stations, while at medium-power AC stations, Type2 port is available.
The duration of charging depends on many factors, such as; equipment power, car model, air temperature. For example, it takes 30 – 40 minutes to recharge the battery power of Hyundai Ioniq from 0 to 80%, which is approximately enough for 100-125 km of mileage through the DC port, while through the AC port it would take approximately more than 3 hours.
