In 2020, all EU countries have agreed to reduce carbon emissions by 55% (from 1990 value) by 2030 and become CO2-neutral by 2050. This agreement was called the European Green Deal.
To achieve this goal, from 2022 onwards, all domestic and private investment inside and outside the EU must be tied to the indicators of carbon emissions reduction.
This means that next year investors will demand accurate figures in the climate reports of companies in ECA region that want to receive investments. What should companies do to get prepared? Let's discuss at the meeting!
