In Ukraine, the first Certificate of Authorized Economic Operator has already been issued. This status enables Ukrainian businesses to have significant benefits in customs clearance throughout the EU. From November 2022 will be especially valuable for all companies involved in the international supply chain.
The process of obtaining the status is quite long, so we recommend not to delay and start it now because companies need to develop or improve internal procedures and policies to meet AEO criteria, monitor its implementation, conduct internal training for employees on compliance with customs legislation and so on.
