The first anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic showed that although society has become accustomed to the new modern conditions, the challenges in the industry have not diminished, but rather increased. The new realities caused by the pandemic continue to dictate their conditions for all competing agencies in the world in the context of combating unfair competition in sensitive areas.
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has been keeping its finger on the pulse for a long time and monitors violations of competition law. In 2020 alone, the amount of fines imposed exceeded UAH 1.6 billion. The industry is confidently developing and moving forward. However, the biggest number of "painful" issues and new challenges are still ahead. Changing the competitive landscape of Ukraine and competition in the field of distribution and e-commerce, concentration and concerted action - these and other issues are in the focus of specialized expert discussions.
Ukrainian Antitrust Forum is organized for the seventh time by the Yurydychna Praktyka newspaper together with its partners.
