Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, USAID has provided $5 billion in development and humanitarian assistance and more than $22B in direct budget support to Ukraine. They focus on supporting Ukraine's government in delivering critical services, ensuring energy system resilience, improving the conditions for Ukraine's exports, and advancing critical reforms. The objectives of US assistance in Ukraine are to improve the business climate, help Ukraine attract investment, and advance toward Euroatlantic integration. Engagement with the private sector and support to Ukraine's businesses is central in USAID's strategy.
During the event, we discussed USAID’s strategic priorities and plans, how to work with USAID as an implementing partner, and tips for applying for the projects. The USAID team also heard from members their perspective on Ukraine's economy and business environment. The presentation has been followed by a Q&A session.
