The first International Sustainability Forum (ISF) will take place in Kyiv on June 17-18. ISF is an educational and interactive event in sustainable development that will help businesses become more attractive to investors, partners, and consumers. All participants will meet 14 top speakers from 7 countries at the forum, 10 best cases of leading companies. Representatives of the EBRD, FMO, UNDP, UN Global Compact Ukraine, Ukrainian Сorporate Governance Academy, German Council for Sustainable Development, Indiana University, Institute Gender and Economic, and Ukrainian business preparing special educational content that will finally fill the gaps in sustainability.
During 2 days, all participants will visit 4 rooms: Intro, Environmental, Social, Governance. Each room includes a series of lectures and case-study sessions on best sustainable practices. The forum will answer the questions: How is sustainability different from charity and CSR? Why is sustainability not just ecology? How can business affect climate change? What is the future of the circular economy? How to interact with stakeholders? Why investors emphasize ESG and many other useful pieces of knowledge that will bring business closer to sustainable solutions. At the end of the forum, participants will be able to check their knowledge and obtain a certificate.
Sustainable development has no longer been a trend but a necessity, and Ukraine is gradually joining its implementation. The first international event on sustainability and the invitation of the world's best specialists in the field is a new level of knowledge, local players' association, and acquaintance with the best world practices.
