The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has just recently announced the launch of the UDF at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London this past June. BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) Team is serving as an advisor to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on the design of the UDF, which aims to mobilize private and public investments at scale to support the reconstruction and modernization of key sectors of the Ukrainian economy. Participants had an opportunity to learn more about the UDF and opportunities for investors to participate in the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.

Juan Alberto Leautaud, Managing Director in BlackRock's FMA Group and former Head of BlackRock LATAM Infrastructure Investment, has 20+ years of experience in investing real assets, providing senior advice and oversight over FMA's mandate with the Government of Ukraine.
Katrin Neuner, Director in BlackRock's FMA Group and EMEA ESG Lead, has over 10 years' experience in capital markets, ESG, and risk advisory practices and leads FMA's execution of its mandate to support the Government of Ukraine to stand up the Ukraine Development Fund.
