Central banks and financial institutions are traditionally and globally dominated by men. According to the Gender Balance Index 2020, only 14 central banks globally are headed by a woman, and one-fifth of central banks have no women in senior positions at all. During the Online WELDI Session "Woman in Charge: Money, Power & Beauty", we met with Kateryna Rozhkova, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, who is one of the few women, who managed to conquer the financial peak of Ukraine and build a spectacular career.
Participants had an opportunity to learn what it takes to be one of the most powerful women in Ukraine's financial sector, how to make bold decisions and take on responsibilities, resist constant pressure and criticism, and carve out time for themselves and beauty.
