The meeting was focused on discussing the issue of full responsibility of RES producers for their imbalances, that is planned to be introduced since January 1, 2022, and practical functioning of balancing groups. In particular, the discussion covered such topics as:
- How do the balancing groups function in general?
- Results of monitoring of functioning of State Enterprise (SE) Guaranteed Buyer balancing group.
- Might the idea of leaving balancing group of SE Guaranteed Buyer have an economic rationale in a current situation?
- Practical aspects of creation of new balancing groups.
- The drawbacks in current formula for imbalances calculation.
